Every spring, the Michelin Guide announces its list of the best restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau, tipping its hat to great-value places to eat with its Bib Gourmands. The Michelin Bib Gourmand Restaurants 2023 list is finally here, so we can dine on an affordable budget while sampling some of the best menus in Hong Kong and Macau. Think three-course meals (drinks not included) for a maximum price of HKD 400 (in Hong Kong) or 400 Macau Pataca (in Macau).
There are 72 entries (in Hong Kong and Macau) on the 2023 list with six new entries in Hong Kong to boot. It brings the overall list of inclusions in Hong Kong to 65. Plus, these range from old-school street vendors to new-wave food joints. So, read on to see the new entries on the list.

Saya
Isan-inclined Thai cooking is what Saya does best, so look forward, with bated breath, to the aromatic Khao Soy and Pla Phao, salt-crusted grilled fish.

Ship Kee
This Wan Chai restaurant serving up Cantonese classics stands out for its chef’s special honey-glazed barbecue pork and dim sum prowess. Here, the barbecue chef with more than 40 years of experience prepares perfectly tender barbecue pork. Also, save room for the steamed rice rolls with shrimp and Chinese chives that look like gems under a soft cover.
