Greed Bank of Mixology
Tucked behind Arnoma Grand Bangkok’s Laoteng restaurant is Greed, a “Bank of Mixology”-themed space—think gold bars, checks, the whole thirty feet. Look for a large vaulted door, and you’ll be greeted with an air of luxury, an attentive team welcoming you into the bar, and the sound of old-school hip-hop filling the room. If you’re feeling adventurous, feel free to challenge one of the bartenders to a game of checkers. You can even place a bet on a free shot if you win.
Highlights include “009 Greed,” a spirit made with single malt Scotch whiskey, rosewater, sakura-fortified wine, and garnished with a sprinkling of truffle salt, as well as the “018 Baungarten” made with bourbon, syrup spiced poached pear, white vermouth and a light touch of lemon.

Lost in Thaislation
There are many bars in Thonglor, and this one has certainly making a splash with its menu since its trial.
Lost in Thaislation is a new speakeasy with the perspectives of Bangkokians in mind, which is reflected directly in their menu. His first exclusive series pays homage to the street foods of the capital, something that all of us, regardless of background or education, enjoy.
The menu includes Khao Man Gai, pad thai, Moo Sub Kium Ox, and Khao Niew Mamuang—all in liquid form, which strangely works very well.

It’s time for a history lesson we’ll never want to rest from. Twelve new drinks, inspired by four women who have become icons of the bar industry, make up the new Stella cocktail menu. Have you heard of Ada Coleman, the first and only female head waiter at London’s Savoy Hotel to have invented the Hanky Panky? Or maybe Rita Hayworth, the woman who inspired the Daisy? She now has, and she can learn all about them through inventive cocktails that alcohol enthusiasts can’t miss.
The highlight that you cannot miss is the “Coley,” made from Tanqueray, Lillet Blanc, strawberry milk punch, Italicus, and a little lemon. And if you’re driving, their new mocktail selections are just as refreshing.

Mezcal
Boasting a cozy atmosphere and distinct, well-balanced mezcal-based cocktails, Mezcal is renowned as a desirable drinking spot. The second study of drinks, spearheaded by head bartender Martín Guerra, draws inspiration from the English poet William Blake and his compositions of ‘Songs of Innocence’. With Guerra’s past as a chef, every cocktail showcases innovation with its careful utilization of ingredients and impressive balance. The most unique blend appears in the offering of brown butter and sugar, which surely came as a surprise when presented in such a spiritual cocktail – yet works marvellously!

Zuma
Eight new cocktails were recently launched at Zuma, the contemporary Japanese izakaya on the ground floor of The St. Regis Bangkok. Led by Davide Sambo, guests can enjoy new creations that don’t shy away from unique flavors and textures. One thing is for sure: expect floral and herbal notes, as a Japanese garden inspires the new menu.
Highlights we love include the “Sea of Trees,” made with 15-year-old Matusalem rum with woody roots of wasabi, and the “Matsuri Martini,” a twist on the classic with Beefeater 24 gin, Sakura Mancino Vermouth, and Beefeater tea. Silky flowers. Yoghurt.

Behind The Curtain Bkk
We went to Mia Restaurant and finally found what was behind that mysterious curtain: a terrific new drink show from the new bar manager, Marc Pérez Rodríguez. While not much has been revealed yet, they will also be releasing an omakase dessert soon, where chef Michelle Goh’s sweet treats are paired with beautiful cocktails to go with it. We never thought a Winery Mojito would go so well with some Prunier Baerii caviar, sourdough buns, and smoked curds, but it turned out that the answer lay right behind that curtain.

Japanese bars are known for their hospitality, and the newest in town boasts a venue that feels intimate and a menu that exudes warmth. Hinoiri, which translates to “sunset,” has a giant replica of the sun in the center. Whatever your spirit preference, they will make you your own cocktail to go with your summary. So you could be fair and say something like, “I love rum, and I want it to be aromatic,” or you could confuse them a bit and say something like, “Yeah, I want my drink to feel like a warm sunny day.” in Hokkaido.

The Holiday Club
A new adventure full of creative drinks comes from the team at the famous Holiday Pastry shop. The Holiday Club makes every day feel like the festive season in downtown New York with bingo nights, DJ sets, and intimate vibes. Also, you can get delicious cakes to go with your choice of cocktail. Baked Brie with Wildflower Honey, anyone?
Our absolute recommendation is the “Sweet Dreams,” a satisfyingly sugary concoction made from white rum washed with cocoa butter, Mozart white chocolate liqueur, white malt honey, and then topped with crème fraiche and honeycomb.
