Since its closure in early July, speculation has been rife that Uniqlo will reintroduce its Uniqlo Coffee at KL’s Fahrenheit 88 shopping mall with many new services, including the debut of Malaysia’s first Uniqlo Coffee kiosk. If you’re bothered that Singapore only has ‘Uniqlo Flower’ and no coffee, you’ll want to plan a trip to KL soon for a cup of coffee from the Japanese clothing retailer.
Five months later, and after much holding our breath, it has finally been confirmed that the newly renovated store in Kuala Lumpur will be home to Uniqlo Coffee’s inaugural location. Located on the ground floor, all visitors must do is navigate towards Uniqlo’s familiar glass façade and climb into the store before venturing further up the small flight of stairs.

Tucked behind a cluster of travel-appropriate winter gear, the coffee kiosk is simple and unpretentious, occupying just a small corner of the spacious ground floor plan. In fact, some might even overlook the kiosk entirely, given how seamlessly it blends into the store’s overall ambience in swaths of pale wood trim and cream-colored walls, if it weren’t for the whistling of its coffee machine. express.
But of course, an illuminated tent will leave no doubt about where you have arrived. If this is your first visit to Uniqlo Coffee (as it probably is for most Malaysian shoppers), be prepared to wait in line, given the hype and interest surrounding the kiosk’s opening.
What’s immediately evident is that the kiosk is intended to offer a more on-the-go approach, giving shoppers a quick caffeine pick-me-up between meals. There are no chairs or tables on the ground floor.
Suppose you want to entertain yourself with your coffee. In that case, you’ll have to climb the stairs to access the dedicated seating area, which offers a similar visual experience to Shibuya Scramble, only this time at the Pavilion pedestrian crossing. Once again, be prepared to test your patience to get a seat, as this area will be a hot topic for social media snaps.
If you are looking for a pick-me-up, then head to the Uniqlo Coffee at KL’s Fahrenheit 88, which offers a great range of coffee drinks. From the Americano (RM7.90, approximately S$2.30) to the Latte (RM9.90, approximately S$2.90) and Matcha Latte (RM14.90, approximately S$4.00), there’s something for everyone. The Uniqlo Coffee kiosk can be found on the ground floor of Uniqlo Coffee at KL’s Fahrenheit 88 in KL and will officially open to the public on November 9, 2023.
